We are also currently in a funding drive to complete the construction of our healing campus which will include the main facility (fully funded), an Arts and Administration building(fully funded), a Greenhouse (partially funded) and we are hopeful to find funding for our Movement Pavilion as well as a Barn, so if you would like to make a monetary contribution, click the donate button below.

We greatly appreciate any type of community contribution big or small, and we are thankful for your support, time, and  generosity.

Did you Know?

There is a deepening child and adolescent mental health crisis in the United States and an increasingly wide gap between the number of young people experiencing mental health challenges and the resources available to help them.

With one of the highest youth suicide rates in California and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) scores nearly double the state’s average, Humboldt County youth are at the epicenter of these mental health challenges, and for years, our community and the surrounding counties have had no facilities within hundreds of miles to help young people when they reach the point of a crisis or suicide attempt.

Located in Humboldt County and serving the northern counties of California (Humboldt, Del Norte, Trinity, Siskiyou, Northern Mendocino), Sorrel Leaf Healing Center will provide desperately needed mental health services to our most vulnerable youth close to home. Moreover, our model sets a new standard for youth mental health intervention across the state that we hope will be replicated.
