Mobile Response
Our Mobile Response Team consists of a vehicle with licensed mental health case management practitioners. Our team and vehicle are available to travel wherever in the county a young person is experiencing a mental health crisis, such as school, a hospital emergency room, law enforcement, another mental health facility or the child’s home.
The goal of our Mobile Response is to de-escalate the crisis, provide immediate counseling and case management, and whenever possible to prevent hospitalization or the need for a higher level care. Each young person referred to our Crisis Response Services will receive a mental health assessment and will be supported and encouraged to participate in the creation of an individualized emergency safety plan. Additionally, the youth may receive individual therapy, family interventions and/or a medication consultation during the crisis intervention.
