Mobile Response
Crisis Care Anywhere
Sorrel Leaf offers an intensive mobile crisis response program to meet the needs of youth in crisis whether they are at home, in school, or in transition from a hospital or other institution. Our Youth Crisis Support (YCS) program lasts anywhere from three to six weeks in order to stabilize the crisis, work on coping skills, and establish healthy routines and communication for the future.

❋ Mobile Care
We serve children and youth ages 7-17 all over Humboldt County, coming to where you can safely meet.
❋ De-Escalation as a Priority
The goal of our Youth Crisis Support (YCS) is to de-escalate crisis situations and provide immediate care twice a week.
❋ Expert Facilitation
Our trained staff is available during regular business hours Mondays through Thursdays with accommodation in the evenings as needed to ensure help is available when it is needed.
❋ A Supportive Team
Youth and their caregivers participate in creating individualized emergency safety plans so crisis can be averted in the future.
