Crisis Mobile Response Team

Service Description

The Sorrel Leaf Youth Mobile Response Team (MRT) consists of a child and adolescent mental health professional and a caseworker, available to travel to the location of any person aged 18 or below experiencing a mental health crisis within Humboldt County. These crisis interventions may take place in a hospital emergency room, a school, home or law enforcement facility and aim to de-escalate the situation and to develop individualized strategies to resume the young person’s normal activities and prevent a return to crisis.
