Crisis Stabilization

Our three Crisis Stabilization units emphasize crisis de-escalation, timely and thorough mental health assessment and diagnosis, and the development of an appropriate safety and care plan in coordination with the young person in crisis and their caregivers. Stays in Crisis Stabilization are typically under 24 hours. Each young person in Crisis Stabilization will receive individualized psychiatric and therapeutic care with the goal of minimizing further trauma and keeping them safely in their homes whenever possible, with appropriate follow-up referrals, aftercare and case management in place.
